The Meat Box delivers New Zealand wide.
We DO NOT deliver to RURAL addresses (sorry but this may take up to 3 days and we can’t risk our product sitting for that length of time), if you do live Rural you could organize your Meat Box to be delivered to a location for a collection that is not a rural address. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address please send us a message on the website and we will reply asap if we are able.
Deliveries are made Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm
Business/ Company addresses can be delivered between 9-12pm
We use a national courier network, Courier-Post, to deliver our meat boxes. All our meat is packed with ice packs in an insulated chiller box to keep your meat chilled both during delivery and also sitting at your door. In temperature trials, our packaging system has been proven to keep meat at cold for up to 12 hours, so you can be sure that your meat will be in the best condition when it reaches you.
*Please note: If you are getting your order delivered to your business address, please ensure you have a chilled place to store your meat till you head home at the end of the day. Most orders will be delivered between 9am-5pm on your chosen day.
We know how busy weekdays can be so you don’t need to be home when we deliver; we can leave your Meat Box in a designated area, just let us know by including delivery instructions on your account/ check out.
North Island deliveries are at a flat-fee of $8.00.
South Island deliveries are at a flat-fee of $15.00
Each of our delivery boxes is designed to carry up to 8-10kg. Keep an eye out for freight specials on our Facebook page and monthly Meat Box newsletter.
You can choose your own delivery date when placing your order online. We deliver Tuesday to Friday for residential/business addresses.
We cut everything to order to ensure you are getting the freshest meat possible. To ensure this we have to have a cut off time for orders, which is 7am Monday to Thursday for following day delivery in the same week. Orders placed over the weekend will be delivered Tuesday at the earliest. After this point, orders will be working their way through our butchery so cannot be cancelled or amended. Customers submitting an order after this time will have the option to choose a delivery date the following day, or a range of later dates.
You can track your order by going to the Account Info screen ( right hand corner), clicking your order, and then clicking on the courier tracking number.Courier Post Customer Care Centre is open 7am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am -12 midday Saturday and can be contacted on 0800 268 743 or via their website at https://www.courierpost.co.nz/track/track-and-trace/
If you have not received your order by 6:00pm on the due day please contact our helpful team on (0800) MEATBOX, and we will help you locate where your delivery is.
You can have a one-off order or choose from weekly/fortnightly/monthly regular delivery of The Meat Box.
Your order constitutes an order for an ongoing and regular purchase and delivery of Meat/Meats selected and will, subject to the rights to pause and terminate set out in these terms and conditions, continue indefinitely. You can choose to pause (for a period of time) or terminate (indefinitely) your order.
All these changes can be done through your Account Info in top right-hand corner of each page.
You are liable for every order made under your Login details.
You can also choose to change a weekly delivery to a fortnightly/monthly delivery and vice versa.
The cut-off day and time for changing the existing order, pausing or cancelling an order is 2 days before the relevant Delivery Date by 7am.
Deliveries are made on a Tuesday through to Friday (9am- 6:30pm).
The Meat Box payments are processed through a secure DPS Payment Express system. Credit card details are stored for recurring payments through the DPS system, no credit card information is stored by The Meat Box.
