Cooking Tips

1. Rub the Beef with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, resting long enough to come up to room temperature. 

2. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium to high heat.

3. Quickly sear the meat about 5 seconds on each side then remove from frying pan. 

4. Melt and brown 2 tablespoons of butter in the frying pan, then return steaks to the frying pan, and fry a further 4 to 5 minutes on each side. 

5. The outside of the meat should be browned and caramalised. Remove from pan and let stand for about 5 minutes for the juices to settle.

    Delicious

    We tried the cheapest steak and didn't like the quality so we upgraded to the beef eye filet steaks and never looked back. The size of the steaks are perfect and they're void of chewy stringy bits. These are the best steaks I've ever had.
