You can choose your own delivery date when placing your order online. We deliver Tuesday through Friday, throughout New Zealand. In Auckland we deliver Sunday to Friday.
We cut everything to order to ensure you are getting the freshest meat possible. To ensure this we have to have a cut off time for orders, please see below for the earliest that you can receive your order based on the time that you're ordering:
Order before 7pm Sunday, and receive your order the following Tuesday on our Nationwide Delivery service, or Monday on Auckland Express Delivery service.
Order before 7pm Monday, and receive your order on Wednesday on our Nationwide Delivery service, or Tuesday on Auckland Express Delivery service.
Order before 7pm Tuesday, and receive your order on Thursday on our Nationwide Delivery service, or Wednesday on Auckland Express Delivery service.
Order before 7pm Wednesday, and receive your order on Friday on our Nationwide Delivery service, or Thursday on Auckland Express Delivery service.
Order before 7pm Thursday, and receive your order on Sunday in Auckland on our Nationwide Delivery service, or Monday if you are outside of Auckland on our Nationwide Delivery service. If you are using our Auckland Express service, you can get your order delivered on Friday in time for the weekend!
Orders placed over the weekend (up to 7pm Sunday) will be delivered on Tuesday at the earliest. After this point, orders will be working their way through our butchery so cannot be cancelled or amended. If you have any problems regarding your order please contact us via email at email@example.com
We also have a gift delivery service that runs on the same cycle as above. Which means you can have all your gifting needs fulfilled with our Gift Delivery Service on your chosen delivery date.
We proudly partner with a national courier network, NZ Post for our Overnight Delivers who track your Meat Box delivery. All our meat is packed with slow temper gel-ice packs in a wool lined box to keep your meat chilled both during delivery and also sitting at your door.
In temperature trials, our packaging system has been proven to keep meat at cold for up to 36 hours, so you can be sure that your meat will be in the best condition when it reaches you. Best of all, it's sustainable and recyclable packaging.
We know how busy weekdays can be so you don’t need to be home when we deliver; we can leave your Meat Box in a designated area, just let us know by including delivery instructions at check out.
For nationwide overnight delivery to metro addresses our delivery fee is $10 with free delivery on orders over $150 (Free Delivery offer excludes express delivery, rural delivery and weekend delivery)
For Auckland Express delivery our delivery fee is $10, and the order cut-off is up to one day prior to your preferred delivery date.
We don’t encourage Rural Delivery (please see FAQ - DO YOU DELIVER TO RURAL ADDRESSES? for more detail). However if you’d like to proceed at your own risk, the delivery fee is $15.

As for timing, order typically arrive between 9am and 3pm and are left at your doorstep or another easily deliverable location at your home or workplace (just let us know in the 'delivery notes' section of your order)
Yes absolutely, you can track your order by going to the Account Info screen (right-hand corner), clicking your order, and then clicking on the courier tracking number. You will also receive a text notification when your order has been delivered.
If you have not received your order by 4:00 pm on the due day please contact our helpful customer care team on (0800) MEATBOX or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will help you locate and track your order.
