Add Address- Remove the pork chops from the refrigerator and massage with chopped 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper into the meat. Set the pork chops aside at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook until a rich, brown crust forms on the bottom.
- Turn and flip the Pork Chops to do the same on the other side.
- After searing, reduce heat to medium and if you like, add butter, garlic, and herbs (like thyme or rosemary)
- Let chops rest 5–10 minutes, loosely tented with foil—this allows juices to redistribute
