Cheesy Meatball Bake

Ingredients
  • 1kg pork & beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups tomato pasta sauce
  • 1–2 cups grated mozzarella
  • Olive oil
Cooking Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, combine mince, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix gently.
  • Roll into golf ball-sized meatballs.
  • Heat a pan with a little oil and brown meatballs on all sides (no need to cook through).
  • Transfer to an oven dish and pour over tomato sauce.
  • Top generously with mozzarella.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until cooked through and bubbling.

Serve with your favourite Pasta.
