Ingredients
- 1kg pork & beef mince
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cups tomato pasta sauce
- 1–2 cups grated mozzarella
- Olive oil
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, combine mince, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix gently.
- Roll into golf ball-sized meatballs.
- Heat a pan with a little oil and brown meatballs on all sides (no need to cook through).
- Transfer to an oven dish and pour over tomato sauce.
- Top generously with mozzarella.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until cooked through and bubbling.
Serve with your favourite Pasta.
