Asian Baked Meatballs (serves 3-4)

An easy recipe for delicious, well-seasoned beef Asian meatballs with a marvelous sauce – sticky, with just a hint of sweetness, and very flavorful.

3 - 4 servings


1 packet Beef meatballs 

100ml hoisin sauce

2T honey

2T soy sauce 

2T rice vinegar 

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/2t fresh ginger, grated 

1/2t sesame oil

1/2t sriracha 

To serve

Cooked rice

Asian greens 

Sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. 
  2. Place the meatballs onto the prepared tray leaving space in between each and bake for 20-25 minutes. 
  3. While the meatballs are baking, mix the remaining ingredients together in a small saucepan. Heat over a medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Once the sauce begins to thicken, remove from the heat as it will continue to thicken as it cools. 
  4. Pour the sauce over the meatballs then serve them on a bed of rice with some Asian greens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
