Pulled Pork Burgers

The perfect, sticky pulled pork burger for that takeaway night!

Ingredients

800g pork butt

1/2c apple cider vinegar 

Rub

1 1/2T brown sugar

1/2T smoked paprika 

1/2T garlic powder 

2t salt

1t mustard powder 

1t onion flakes 

1t cumin powder

1/2t black pepper

1c bbq sauce

6 burger buns

Shredded red cabbage 

Shredded green cabbage 

Mayonnaise 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Mix the rub ingredients together then massage all over the pork butt. 
  2. Place into a slow cooker and pour over the apple cider vinegar. Cook for 10-12 hours. 
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C and transfer the pork to a roasting dish. Drizzle half a cup of the juices over top and bake for 20 minutes or until the surface of the pork has darkened slightly. 
  4. Shred using two forks and mix through the bbq sauce. 
  5. Mix some mayonnaise through the cabbage and spoon onto the bbq bun bases. 
  6. Top with some of the pork and add a little bbq sauce. Place the burger lid on top and enjoy.
