Quick & Easy Beef Larb

Dive into a whirlwind of flavours with this quick and easy Beef Larb, ready in 30 minutes. This is a favourite on our summer rotation, it's light on the stomach but still full of flavour!

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 brown onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp finely grated ginger
  • 1/2 jar or pouch of The Little Bone Broth Company Beef Broth
  • 400g beef mince
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce or 1 tsp crushed chilli
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup roughly chopped mint
  • 1/4 cup roughly chopped coriander
  • 2 Tbsp crushed roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 fresh red chilli, sliced
Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook Aromatics: Heat sesame oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and fry until translucent. Then add garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.

  2. Simmer with Broth: Add the beef broth and simmer until almost all the liquid evaporates.

  3. Brown the Beef: Mix in the beef mince and cook until brown.

  4. Flavour the Mince: Incorporate fish sauce and lime juice, cooking for 5-10 more minutes. Add more broth if needed to keep the mixture moist.

  5. Add Final Touches: Off the heat, blend in sweet chilli sauce, spring onions, mint, coriander, peanuts, and red chilli.

Serve this flavourful Beef Larb and enjoy a feast of textures and tastes in every bite!

Serving suggestion: use an iceberg lettuce to create lettuce cup then scoop inside for a fun and healthy meal!
